Management of Nasal Bone Osteoma with Columella Approach: A Case Report

BACKGROUND: Osteoma is a benign bone tumor with an incidence rate of about 1% primary tumors. the nasal rare case and recurrence reported in literature after surgery 10%. most often occurs young people second third decades, mostly men. can be treated surgically external approach or endoscopic approach. The surgical technique incision open rhinoplasty transcolumella extensions effective, because it minimize scars post-operative correct esthetic problems. CASE REPORT: Reported 11-year-old boy chief complaint lump on right side nose that enlarged slowly last 2 months diagnosed suspected as osteoma based physical examination CT Scan. Patient was performed management resection columella give good result minimizes postoperative. On results histopathological operation were osteoma. CONCLUSION: very tumor. One techniques cases Although has recurrence; this case, occurred 4 resection.
